Are the three versions of the stuka going to be different or the same just different colourways??? If they are similar then we have to take into account the different versions and, were versions carrying cannon different to the BOB versions??? K&C have not said how this will work only that three variants may come out

You do love that Large writing!!!! There is nothing wrong with anticipation but, all the discussion which, is going on could just lead to some dissapointed collectors. The only thing we have been told is that three variants are coming and, some metal will be used not definate if all will be metal so, we know very little.

K&C usually do three versions (or more) i.e. 250 series with the same item just repainted. As I was saying, if this is to be the case then a BOB version is probably going to be the same. My money would be on them being similar as to produce three different versions especially, when intimating they will use a new medium for the aircraft would seem a step to far

Based on K&C's latest releases I would bet these Stukas will be crowd pleasers. I am most happy that they are coming !

I am sure they will be but, using metal will also increase detail expectations from the crowd as there are very highly detailed aircraft in metal on the market now which, cost a fraction of the cost.

I think your right Mitch k&C will need to better what Corgi are doing in the 1/32 market with a $ 300 price tag and detail

Based on King&Country's track record and the ever ongoing collector demand for the Stuka it will be interesting to see what the final product will turn out to be. Not forgeting the eastern front releases it too will be interesting to see what Soviet armored vehicles come out. Time to purchase "another" curio cabinet.

With three version being made it will be interesting seeing how many will be made of each version .

I don't really see an ever growing demand for the stuka. Wayne was the only one on here really piping for a stuka (He still is) and, a few have followed suit but, Itdoes not seem a surge nor is the interest in russians huge in the same respect. there are a few who are wanting these sets but, the proportion is small on here for the membership and, this forum is a very small percentage of the worlds collecting population. Many have rather large collections and buy a significant amount of stuff and will never come on a forum like this or, probably know anyone on one. I know a few collectors who buy a lot that are not even on the internet.

I am looking forward to hearing more detailed information on what the variants will be how they are manufactured and what the price points will really be I am also interested in seeing the Figarti release which, looks like it will be first at least in prototype and showing to the collectors at the London show. I also wonder how much soviet armour will come, more than likely a T-34 either 76mm or 85mm versions (or both) but, apart from that a KV1 or KVII and then they become a bit more obscure and not as well known

Interesting point about numbers will they take it to 250 series?? I am not so sure 750 stuka's seems a lot as K&C's track record of aircraft sees the ranges not selling out, even the SL ME 109 is still available!!! All are still available easily apart from some of the Hurricanes and these are being sold very cheap (IMO) on the secondary market. I wonder if they will maybe follow suit with the WW1 aircraft and do 100/150 of each??

Well, we shall see about the stuka's in due course but, the armour thing looks like what I said, not a lot really to choose from in terms of Russki armour.

The downside to the planes is they take up a lot of room and that why I'm very careful what I collect with lack of space

Thats a good point as they are not small aircraft. What I would like to know and nobody has asked is this the end of polystone aircraft or, just a one off metal use as polystone was unable top replicate the wing structure of the stuka??

mitch, don't worry about the russians, they will sell. I talked to a lot of folks in chicago and they are gung ho on russians and normandy falschirmjager

Hawkeye I agree with you totally. K&C Russians will sell this go around, certainly better than the previous releases done years back. More Eastern Front Germans have been made in the last year and collectors want Russians to go along with them. Anything on E-Bay Russian sells for a healthy price......indicating to me collector interest in these products. Second quarter of 2012 is not that far off !!
