Steve; your diorama really gives the feel of the narrow lanes and opportunities for ambush in middle eastern towns. Use some sand on the ground to conceal the figures bases.

What a fantastic idea!:smile2: That's a great place for the perfect ambush...{sm2}
As always, well done, Steve! :eek:

Cheers

Thanks mate ! Yep the Jews had to improvise and make the best of what they had against the Superpower of the time.
Worked for a while too !

Looks really good in this tight setting Steve, just how it would have been in the day. Robin.

Thanks Kat, Yep I could just as easily put modern figures in a scene like that, just have to add some plastic waste of course !{sm2}

Cheers Robin. If you were to go to the Middle East or even Med cities today you'll find a lot of places that don't look much different. Look up of course and you'll see all the Satellite dishes !:rolleyes2::wink2:^&grin

Steve,
As others have said your street scene is very realistic and shows how dangerous controlling the streets were for the Romans.

And up to and including the Israelis of today when trouble kicks off there or anywhere else in Middle East, as troops from anywhere discovers.

One wonders whether there ever will be a permanent peace there.
