Since this board is open to the general public I will keep the language respectfull!
A guy won an ebay item for around $50 on 7-5. I shipped it with delivery confirmation.
Two days ago I received an email from him asking if I shipped it. I replied I did gave him the shipping #. I also checked the number with the post office which said they attempted to deliver on 7-9, however no one there, they left a note stateing it could be picked up at the post office indicated on the note within 15 days are it would be shipped back to me.
I also informed the buyer of this.
Today I received another email from the buyer stateing the tracking number was wrong because it started with 0 and that he had been to the post office and they did not have it.
I again checked my number and again the above info showed up. Now here is the part that infuriates me. I contacted paypal and advised them of the situation trying to head this off at the pass, but in a few words paypal said if he files a dispute, because it was not physically delivered to him I am liable to refund him the entire amount.
Paypal addmitted I had done everything right but the buyer still gets his money back.
Does a seller have any rights at all?
Anyone else have a similar problem?
