Pegasus Bridge (2 Viewers)

Does anyone own one of these (Figarti pegasus bridge) and, could they tell me about it. I have not seen one in the flesh, so, to speak. How does it come packed is it in bits etc

Figarti had trouble with these and were redoing them. However, I don't know the status.

Hi Mitch,

They pretty much disintegrated during shipment. I believe that Matt at HB took parts from about 6 of them and got close to a complete bridge for display. I dont think Rick (figarti) has ever solved the shipping problem on these. From pictures, they are something else that is for sure!

Thanks for that I have seen pictures and they look great but, thats a problem. perhaps they could make it in pieces and allow the collector to build it on arrival?. Hope they sort it soon.

Hi Mitch,

I seen one in the flesh at OTSN a few years back and it was nice but as previously stated just looking at it you knew there was no way it could be shipped safely. Especially back then when Figarti had major shipping problems.

Funny to see this thread. I was just thinking about this piece the other day. I thought Rick said that the bridge would be back some time in the future. Hope it's soon

Rick is traveling for a couple of weeks so he asked me to convey the following:

We do have plans to relaunch the Pegasus bridge but we simply have not been able to slot it in to our production plan. The first bridge was an engineering failure because we made a total of 15 but only 2 survived shipping to stay intact. The engineering issues have been overcome and we know we can make a Pegasus bridge that is strong and light. However, the cost would be higher and we don’t know if it makes economic sense to mass produce it. However, if anybody would like a custom made Pegasus bridge, we can do it for them. The cost may be a little higher but I am sure it will be worth every dollar. For now, the Pegasus project is on hold until we can gauge some indication on demand.

I would be interested but would need to know the price first & thanks for finding out

I would buy one but, depends again on cost. Worryingly in this response is it will cost more. It may be that if its too much I may make my own. Thanks for the info though
