Thanks P n P. Rearranged them today but ran out of light. Will take pics tomorrow and then add in the late comers. I just got 12 new Persians and 3 more macedonians.

Oh how Alexander would have loved to have had the Spartans on his side! But they refused to join him on his conquering adventure staying behind to cause trouble at home. Great set up with your expanding Greco/Persian War dio. So much action.

Thats it for now. I didn’t want to add any of my K N C or T G Persians and Greeks, i wanted a purely Jenkins Scene.
It definitely shows the Macedonians need some flank support as the Spartans werent there back in the day. So hopefully John makes some Greek allies or some Macedonian skirmishers.

You could use JJD Thracian peltists as flankers who fought for both sides. And also add in Scythians on the Persian side.

Great display though. I have a similar amount of Macedonian and Persian figures together with Thracians and Scythians but unable to display them at the moment.

Following the suggestion made by Gary the Spartans withdrew ( historically they were never there) and the Thracian peltests have arrived just in time to protect the Macedonian flank from the Persian light cavalry
