Phoenix Model Miniatures-in production anywhere? (1 Viewer)

Revelling in nostalgia here, are we? I have some of the Atlantis range buxom women, including the wrestling pair, bought during my earlier untutored years (!!!) which, without further adornment, would be unsuitable for posting on these threads...:)

I had painted the chamber musicians for a friend's collection many years ago. Excellent pieces (including the above maidens...:))).

Ah, yes, the Atlantis figures! They show up in contemporary catalogs today, too. Quartermaster Corps has sold copies of them in his catalog, and there is a Canadian eBay seller who offers them as well.

Yes, I really like the Georgian range of figures. They fit relatively well with Staddens, since they're a robust 54mm. Each figure has some character, too, reflected in facial expressions and poses, and they provide opportunities to put together scenes of everyday activities, not just battle. Of course, that's true of all of the Phoenix catalog.

If I'm not mistaken, Phoenix also made vacuformed walls to make box dioramas. I'd love to find some, or it would be great if the molds were still available, and someone would produce them again.

Prost!

Hi All,

I notice that the S&D website has been updated and many of their pieces, including the Victorian wagons, are now available. Maybe worth your while to take a look.

Thanks for the update, Vic!

I've been picking up the occasional kit on eBay. Most recently, I snagged a couple of the sedan chair kits. I have three now. I need to get cracking painting them.

Prost!
