Because the English are really French. {eek3} Norman French was the language of the English Royal Court and ruling class from the Norman conquest in 1066 through the reign of the Plantagenet Monarchies until 1485. Dieu Et Mon Droit originally meant God And My Right (to rule as king of France) and came to mean just God And My Right (to rule) at the time of the English Civil War. The motto is still on the English coat of arms in French.

This really is K&C's standout series at the moment for me.

I received these earlier this week - this range just gets better and better imho.

Even though these are from a competitor (lol) I have had to buy them.

All joking apart, they are great and a credit to K&C. Andy and I spoke at the December LTSS and we both came up with the idea for ECW at the same time and announced the ranges within an hour of each other! We both thought that was uncanny and, possibly, a very good omen.
