Folks,
I started on a new dio using TG para figurines.I am working on the building at the moment; the Mini Art ruined factory which received a basic brick colour and some detail already( far from finished). Doors and windows in the kit will be replaced by self made items ( one example included in the pictures) I will keep you posted about the development of the dio

Here is the next stage . The facade is finished. It took me a long time to do . A lot of paintwork and modifications( changed the windows) are needed if you want some decent result. Now I will attack the side wall ,the interior( with lots of detail that I will add) and I will reconstruct part of the roof. It 'll take me at least another month. Will keep you posted

Here is the next stage of the completion of the ruined French factory
I painted the interoir of the French factory, added windows and broken glass and the beams to support the 1st floor. Will now start working on the detail of the offices( 1st floor) and the workshop( ground floor)

That is one real beauty. The stairs...so delicate and real....the wooden boarded up windows- just so authentic-they really make it. The girders- nice detail. Great, simply fantastic{bravo}}.

I noticed that this kit is 1/35-do you think it will scale well with TG/KC figures ?

Yes Mike it will. I use a little trick. All you have to do is make the building a bit higher, raise the building by +/- 8mm up to 1 cm above the general ground level of your dio, so that it is positioned a little bit higher than the figures.Lengthen the doors accordingly and it's done . ( I did it in the Para dio with the 1/35 bridge- I also take away the figure's base which makes them smaller.) I do the same when I use FoV vehicles and tanks in combination with 1/35 scale figurines. I lower the tank in the decor and raise the figures a bit and the trick is done . You get the right perspective .( see picture attached)

Here is the 1st floor completed. I also put the roof structure in place and the stairs from the office on the 1st floor to the workshop. I am now working on the roof covering and preparing the machinery for the ground floor. The next pictures I will put on the forum will be the completed dio.
