Guys, over the last year or so there have been raised on this forum many perfectly valid concerns about prices and their gradual rise.So i think its also right and perfectly valid to flag up price decrease and value for money. So for this reason i'd like to say the new MkIII is an absolute bargain.Great looking Tank at a great looking price. Thanks to K&C:)

That's what I thought!:D

Sop is the bridge and pier!:D
And two desert Building + gate!:D
Great fair prices!:D

Here's my favourite two things from a collectors point of view about K&C's recent direction. I love it when their prices decrease and their quality increases! That's precisely why K&C is #1 in my book. ;)

I'll disagree there, while it is nice, it is expensive $79 for each pier and $55 for the bridge brings that to $213. That is a lot of bread in my book for something that isn't all that detailed to be honest.

Would you say the MkIII is good value though mate?.

I can't comment on that Rob as I have no interest in WWII. I based my opinion on what I have bought from other companies for about the same price and what I got for my money. I do like the jetty/bridge though, don't get me wrong. I would have a couple for a little scene I have planned were it not for the price.

I agree with that for the most part. As a WW2 armour collector, I recognize that sometimes the lower price is achieved through having fewer crew figures at $32 each. While it seems collectors will pay more for a well crewed, very popular piece (Tiger, 88) they may not be so willing for a less popular piece like a Russian AFV. :D In that case, fewer crew figures and a lower price could make the difference between the AFV being produced or not. And I am in favour of that.

Yep,got to get me some of those Desert buildings.

Rob

I can see getting the store for North Afrika and have ordered it, but I am having difficulty figuring out what can be done with the village gate in a WW2 scene.

I agree, nice on the regular tanks that have less figures, keeps the cost down. That said, I still miss the 79 to 99 vehicle and crew days. I just have trouble making the full leap to today in terms of how fast they ramped up. BUT, that is just me! And the fact that maybe I have been blinded by chasing down so much Trophy Gloss lately!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm going to get the North Africa buildings for the new table top Beersheba display I am planning. Being a seen it all before collecting lag I don't often get too excited about new issues but I'm REALLY EXITED about the BEERSHEBA range. It will be a price doesn't matter range for me  :D

I think the new releases are all great values. The new diorama pieces are well below what I thought they would be. The new Panzer III is a great tank and fairly priced. I think all of the recent items from K&C have been well done and priced right. Now how do I afford them all without the credit card smoking:eek:
