Just curious as to what other Forum Members found at the show.

I was able to pick-up the following:

Little Legion Sets
1. The Great Escape
2. Sgt. Windridge and Zulu
3. Mtd. Induna
4. Medical Orderly with Pail

Figarti
1. V1 Flying Bomb and Ramp
2. V2 Missile Camoflage
2. Adjusting Launch Platform for the V2

Free Figures
1. K&C Dinner Figure
2. Figarti Lunch Figure
3. and an unpainted Figarti Figure I won at the raffle at the lunch.

I wish I could post pictures but my camera will not download pictures to my laptop. I need a new camera, but my budget was busted at the show. Now to start budgeting for next year.

It was also nice to meet some of the other forum members.

Wow looks like you had a great time, and quite a budget!

Hope you enjoy all your new items and have a good time setting up

your new displays!

I try to put around 25 dollars a paycheck in my toy soldiers stash. So the budget is not as large as it seems and I am probably done until next year.

I got a Figarti tank crew, Hello 2nd armor and Civil war photographer from ONTC.

This is the best show on earth!!!!!

Well good for you! It looks like you had a great show, and picked up a lot

of nice items!

Unfortunately I have not been able to attend any of the shows yet in

Chicago, but we certainly do appreciate hearing from the guys that made it

up there.

While I don't know you personally, I can imagine how excited you must be

to get your items home and enjoy them.

That is a feeling all collectors have in common!

I just got back and had a very good time.

Here's my haul:

The two special figures made for King & Country France
Figarti Monty Grant
Three ACW King & Country Figures
Three Rough Riders from K & C (one mounted). I now have all the foot figures
Master and Dog from Figarti. I now have the regular issue and Westcoaster version.
Two Somerset Camel and two figures
A glossy Seaforth K & C Mounted Rider
Two figures from the Crimean Range.

Pretty happy with everything, particularly the whole show. Probably the best time out of all three years that I've attended.

No, Fred and Thierry came mostly as buyers but Fred brought a whole bunch of the new sets with them and people were eating them up.

Interesting, I priced them out on their site......and by the time I got finished

with VAT taxes (which I thought only applied to residents) my head was

spinning. It would almost be cheaper to travel over there and bring them

home.:eek::D:)

Dietz,
Some nice Little Legion sets you picked up! Was Mike Norris there ? Also, how did the buildings look from him? Mike

It does. You wouldn't have been charged that (or shouldn't be).

Mike Norris was not there and the Toy Soldier Shoppe did not have the buildings as of yet. Hopefully, they will have them soon.

Items bought at the show :

1. K&C Hummel
2. K&C New Panzer I
3. K&C German 10.5 cm on French Tank
4. German Mountain Trooper 2 man set
5. Mountain Trooper Radio Group
6. 4 Frontline Figures Napoleonic 2 man sets
7. Two small H&A diorama scenes- these were great at $25 and $20 a piece.
By the time I got to the show at 2:30 on Saturday, all of the big,
shelf size, scenes were all marked "sold". I plan on ordering one of
the big scenes in a couple of weeks- they are awesome.
9. Several split rail and barbed wire fence sections by
Pegasus Hobbies, these are also nice and priced low.
10. Several Concorde Books on the German Army in WWII.
11. Lots of brochures.

Great show, I took a lot of pictures, I will try to post them.
