Question about the first Winter Tiger (1 Viewer)

Tunisian Tiger AK039 SL sold for 199.99 and only 1250 were made ......you still might find one out there for a good price.....:D

It is a nice tank came with 3 full body crew and 2 half body crew looks even better when you add the tank riders . On e - bay it is selling for $ 500 .00 .

Wow that's nice! Wouldn't mind adding this to my collection!:D

It was a nice tank at the time, but nothing like the detail in the newer products. I was quite excited many years ago when I finally located one. Wife
took the wind right out of my sails when she first saw it!

I think her exact comment was "You have got to be kidding me"

Congratulations John! Yes, there were some good bargains there. I think they have another one in May. Let's hope they have some good pickins' :)

The SL Winter Tiger (although a little underscaled as mentioned) is one of my favorite K&C pieces and mainly due to the five crew members and fire that come with it. Pictured below is the tank with 4 of the five included figures with also 4 figures of the Winter tank riders.

The AK Tiger is larger (probably correct 1/30 scale) and is also a great piece. The five crew memebers are also top notch. Pictured is the tank with 3 of the crew in the tank with a fourth standing out front.

Both sets are great if you can find them for a reasonable price. Good luck!:)

I will be picking up the Winter Tiger along with AK Tiger form a member here!!! He's about a 35 minute drive from me so I can pick them up and save on shipping!!! I will post pics once they're in my possession!

Duke, That winter dio is excellent. Is that a JG mat w/ JG accesorries? I any case, it's very well done w/ the tank tracks and the way you have worked the fencing, bushes, trees and figures into the snow, which looks freshly fallen!
