I finally picked up this piece recently and think it's well done. I do like the look of the olive drab FOB Ambulance and the Desert version as well. Thinking about getting one of the others too. I put together a little set up to display my new Ambulance with RAF018 WAAF and the RAF Tilley in the background. Also added some Corgi RAF pilots and groundcrew and Revell Beaufighter.

Just realized I have no pictures of the front or opposite side of the ambulance. Moved it. Also a shot of the set up from above to show the hodge podge of build-a-rama mats used to put the scene together. :)

Thanks everyone for the nice comments.

Guy, yes that's the dining room table. The wife had to run an errand yesterday and while she was out I cleared off the table and wah lah .... instant RAF airfield! {sm3} Actually she is now quite used to me displaying my "toys" all around the house. :)

Hi Duke, you take some great photos - nice and clear! {bravo}}

Guy, I've become more bold in my toy soldier displays. When I left the house this morning, I had brought down one of my 1/18 21st C. P-47s and put it on the airstrip. And being more bold I told my wife "don't bother the airstrip on the table while I'm gone" {eek3} and I was quickly out the door. Believe it or not, she didn't change the locks to the house or anything while I was away. :tongue:

Duke, Dining room tables make for some very efficient display tables for Diorama's ^&grin

Duke, you produce so many excellent dio's mate that I honestly run out of words (the wife won't believe that:wink2:)but this is a splendid scene, you've presented these excellent RAF vehicles/aircraft in their best light to create another great one. Nice one Duke you are a master at this.

I agree Wayne, plenty of room on the table top even if only for a few hours. ^&grin

RAF series is one of my favourites and your display looks great. ^&cool

Thanks CFM.

Duke, my old memory may be playing tricks on me but I think Andy mentioned an RAF Jeep coming down the line, that would make for a great addition to our RAF collections.:salute::
