RAF K&C Diorama Day 1 (1 Viewer)

Back again. Have painted and slightly weathered the side tiles / bricks to the diorama frame. I like this aspect of Gordon's dioramas which is why I tried to copy it!

The runway has had as couple of coats of Games Workshop clear 'Purity Seal' to protect it from scratches, etc.

Nissen hut dropped in. It's not fixed and has a few mm to spare on each side....

A more atmospheric shot! What a great piece the Nissen hut is. There is still work to do - grass, weeds and detail painting before I'm done but that's it for now.....

Can't wait to place the figures on the base, fuel bowser, tilly, ambulance, hurricane, etc. But that's for next weekend!

OK, nearly there! Few ideas for a windsock, more weeds, etc. but ready for some figure action.....

Whow that is very impressive mate! It looks great with all the RAF figures & vehicles layed out on it! It looks as good as the K&C one, you should be very proud of yourself.

Thats a great diorama. It was a great how to also and, I am sure many will be making allied and german airfields all over the world with this as their template
