All I can say is that I personally don't get all the fascination with the ranks and the post counts. I don't just mean on the Treefrog forum. Another site I used to moderate members would get angry if a post of theirs was deleted as it lowered their post count. REALLY !?!?! Give me a break.

Amen Brother. I have been rather fascinated and bemused by this discussion. I am all for choosing whatever rank you want or none at all if that is your preference. I never worried about my real service rank except for the changes in offered in paygrade and unless I missed something here, that is NOT something that these "honorary" ranks offer.:salute::
