Hello Guys thanks for the comments…
Hello Mitch, how are you?
I all my dioramas I use raw materials that mostly I found around the house, and to be honest I don’t like my ground work” when I used to created dioramas it was more building stuff and less ground, but I had this interesting a big project for a friend,
(Sorry my English is terrible)
SBS:
1- I start with working the foam bases make holes for the trenches, craters etc..
2- I cover everything with a mix of
A) Putty Paste (normally white colour)
B) Very thin Dust sand (kind of cement that I passed into the sift )
C) Pigments colour
D) Diluted white glue
3- Once you got satisfied with the texture and colour, I start to pour – apply the paste on the foam
4- While I was preparing the mix above, I sifted the dust sand, to separate different sizes of the small rocks that I will apply right after I poured the paste
5- For the Red bricks, I cut small pieces of cardboard and sprayed with red colour
6- After I add all types of small rocks, I spray on top a much diluted mixture of white glue
7- When everything is complete dry, I start to painting using acrylics and oils.
8- I did use a little of small vegetation around the bases, if need it
I think that I cover everything, as I mentioned is not my kind of Diorama but I gave a try. There will be three Rats dioramas together
Rats I

The negative thing of using raw materials is that can be dangerous for the figurines, any fall can scratch the soldiers painting
Voila, I think I covered most of the technique, now I have to pack all of this.....
