Zach,
I love all the French knights - where may I ask are you getting all of these pieces?{eek3}
Wonderful stuff- thanks or sharing the pics!
I'm blown away!

And one of my recent Favorites. This is a five figure limited edition set. It is the Agincourt French (AG-French) from Arsenyev for St. Petersburg Collection.
The figures are Jean Count of Roucy, Jacques Lord of Dampierre, Jean le Maingre, and 2 men-at-arms

Ps, if interested, not the whole set, but I saw the flag bearer and the man-at-arms with the sword on Ebay this morning.

Some are from ebay, but most are through collectors who are no longer collecting (they've asked that I not put their names here though, at least some of them)

Brad - if you ever get sick of Gen. Scott being in your house, please let me know!!! ;)

I think the mailman thinks I'm going to be opening a store!!!!!
Next up is
Mongol Warrior w/ Supply Camel from Grudsky Studio / St. Petersburg Collection #358/359

This is my first camel. I think he's going to need some friends!

This is a Bactrian camel and must have two humps (it's not clear on the picture how many it has). They live in Mongolia and Central China.
They also could be found in Russia but not in Sibiria but rather in the Central Kazakhstan. This set shows a Kazakh in traditional costume.
The Russian Cossacks also used these camels in the Southern provinces of Russia before WW1. See the picture. Al

That flag is a work of art by itself. I am also the proud owner of a mounted Jeb Stuart figure. My only complaint about the Russian ACW figures is that the scabbards are always bend on a strange angle wrapped around the figures.

totally agree! I wish they'd make them out of harder metal so they didn't bend (but then we might be complaining that they snap in shipping)

It's freezing out, what better way to pass the time than playing with some soldiers?!?!?!
