A lone US Medic (DD129) stands on part of Omaha beach several days after the invasion. As he looks back across the channel with stretcher in hand, he reflects on that day and the horror of it and also of the bravery, the sacrifice, and the heros, some of whom he attended to and saved as well as some he couldn't. He'll never forget that day.

Really impressive - I particularly like the sky.

Thanks guys and thanks for letting me know which pictures you prefer. That's why I like taking lots of different shots of a scene, to see which ones turn out the best. Thanks for your opinions.
 
A simple Diorama...But very evocative!!! Medics always hold for me a special admiration and respect...Thanks.

Brilliant work-a very sobering setting to be sure. It's one of my life's goals to visit the Normandy shore, museums and memorials.
