Thanks Wayne I am trying to keep a low profile but would like to share a photo or to at times. Simmo.

I really like the building. I am not too good with my hands so I am like the infantry - seemingly always stuck in the mud or the sand!

Very nice building and dio Simmo, ten out of ten from me..{bravo}}

Some of my favorite K&C figures released to date. Here are a few images from the custom model I made for the TS&MF promotion a short time ago. The figures were supplied by the fine folks here at Treefrog.

Great detail in the buildings Ken.

I noted the Tizer poster. I found a shop here in Oz selling it recently and had to buy it as had not tasted it for over 30 years.

Thanks for posting.

Great thread Fitz. Good to see the civilians getting a showing. Lots of good imagination in the different dios.

Yes Brett, it has been a great showing of imaginative dios; it's fun when everyone posts together on a common theme :) and 'away from the war' is a broad area for imagination.

Life goes on in wartime Melbourne 1942.
Wayne.

Here are two photos of my one & only K&C "Refugee" set along with a K&C dead Hitler Youth soldier figure and the K&C model of the front door area of Hitler's Berlin HQ representing the "Fall of Berlin in early May 1945". Please see one overall view photo and a one close up photo below.

Alex..

Superb scene which, tells a story very powerfully without the need for anything other than the pictures. I think you have depicted what actually happened with accuracy and compasionately. I see nothing wrong with doing such scenes when telling a story, far worse can be seen on the world at war documentary.

Great stuff and brave to do it
Mitch

We thought long and hard before deciding to depict the Holocaust in our presentation of THE GREAT CRUSADE, but we are pleased that the Jewish community praised our efforts.

We believed it was the right thing to do and it worked out, future episodes will complete the story. Alex
