Richard Schuster Collection (1 Viewer)

If someone could identify the maker of that building I would be much obliged (looks like in the bigger picture there was another one close to it). i think those would look magnificent with my modern troopers. Looks a little like the TSSD stuff I have seen in the past???? ^&confuse

Thanks
CC

Chris,
The buildings were custom made from wood and plaster many years ago. The gentleman who did these is long retired and unfortunately disabled.
I can get you photos and maybe someone can build similar structures. They do go well with a modern Iraq and Afghanistan theme.

Brad, thanks for the incredible preview. And Rich, when you suggested Saturday that we get together for a viewing at your house, I had no idea what was housed there!!!!!!!!^&grin:D{eek3}:cool:{sm4}. It's substantially raised the level of anticipation for me.

God bless you,

Joe

Thank you for posting those pictures. It is an outstanding collection.
I have now thanks to the forum made virtual tours of the Badalato, Schuster, Walker and Allison collections.
They are all very impressive.

Some day I will post pics of my collection, it sends shivers into the collections of the fine gentlemen you mentioned above. {sm4}{sm4}

I will need to probably coordinate with Peter and Shannon as the size of all those pictures might jam the bandwith and cause the forum to crash. Essentially I have an acre lot in which I display my toy soldier collection!!! {sm4}{sm3}{sm4}

Martyn,

I will do that tonight since there are some people who might not look here.

AWSOME!!!! :salute::

I think for a lot of us this is a hobby because as we tire of stuff well sell or trade.These are true collectors as they don't get rid of nothing.Great collections.

Same question I was going to ask. The ECW look fantastic. The whole collection is massively impressive. I was also wondering if the Jacobite figures were by Tradition? -- Al

The Jacobite Rebellion figures are Tommy Atkins, I collect them, lovely stuff.

That is the most ASTOUNDING AND BEAUTIFUL collection I have ever seen! WOW. Not only is the size impressive, but the expert presentation and display are close to perfection. If we had a Toy Soldiers “Wonders of the World”, that would be at the top.

Beautiful collection and I especially loved the colorful Trophy displays.
Best regards,

Rich sent me some photos of his table top that Build-a-Rama made for him with Napoleonics on it. Not sure of the maker but very cool.

Hi Brad,

Very cool to see so many giant displays! I wish I had the space. Can you tell me who made the English Civil War figures? That's a line I wish someone would explore again.

Dave

First time I have seen this thread. I am overwhelmed, excellent collection. Thank you for sharing.

The ECW figures were made by the UK company "Mulberry Miniatures" and I don't think they are in business any longer.
You do see their sets on Ebay once in a while. Nice, toy soldier style glossy figures but I would love to find some maker of matte style.

Rich's collection is one of the finest I've ever seen, and it is always a thrill to see what he does on his enormous diorama table.^&cool^&cool
