Many thanks Scott. No fear of being overrun this time, they have Gatling guns covering the flanks :salute:::salute::

Fantastic Photos!!!
I watched the movie "Zulu Dawn" a few days ago and then of course followed with the classic "Zulu". When I saw the photo of the Gatling gun scene from behind I could imagine them buggers sticking their heads up from the bush any second.

GREAT photos and set up -- Thanks!

I never was or have been a glossy collector but I have always admired and enjoyed the pictures of your very extensive and colourful Colonial collection. Your dio shots always depict well thought through professional lay-outs which definitely help to highlight your figures.

When I attend the London shows I tend to by-pass the Glossy tables, however, last Saturday I had to pick up some LL pieces for a very good Yankee pal of mine. I got talking to Mike of LL and although a Londoner attempting to talk to a Welshman forced us on occasions to use sign language ^&grin found him to be a real nice guy who guided me through a number of his sets.

Bottom line Martyn is this was the first time I had had a closeup and personal view of these little troops which were very impressive and I came away clearly understanding why you, Joe, my Yankee pal and other forum collectors are so enthralled with these splendidly colourful guys.

Back to your pictures-brilliantly stunning.

Bob

A great set up of figures and backgrounds....

just what I LOVE to see Gunners all hot and sweaty manning the guns in action,

UBIQUE,

Many thanks Bob that is a wonderful compliment regarding my pictures:salute:::salute:::salute::

Mike is a great guy to deal with, we had a similar problem with communication but after a couple of years I think we have cracked it^&grin. I am also a Londoner from South of the River.

Martyn,

If there isn't a book on Trophy's products, you should write one. Since you live in London, you ought to contact Kevin Elliott (Panda1gen) and he can photograph and edit it for you. I don't even collect Trophy to any great extent any more, but I would buy the book if you wrote it.

Hi Louis

Thank you for your vote of confidence but I am not sure I am the person to do that^&grin

Please don't get the wrong idea I too would love to see a Trophy book available and would do what ever I could to assist in the project but there are many Trophy series that I do not collect, one of the main being Napoleonic.

A Forum buddy Alex (boerboy) wants to set up a web site devoted to Trophy

Thank you again for your kind words

Cheers
