Funny thing, whenever Scotland,Ireland or Wales are playing most people in England will always root for them. However when England play most of the other nations always want England to lose, you see it all the time. How sad!

Rob,
I agree that it's a ridiculous state of affairs. I'm British/Scottish not Scottish/British and do confuse myself at times.
I should have made it more clear who I will in fact be rooting for. Believe it or not, I'll be cheering on the "White Shirts" mainly cos I like their style of Rugby......Just please don't tell my family.....
Cheers
H
Hi Harry
British first /scottish secound .
Heres a poem my pop wrote about scotland.
My Thoughts go back to Scotland
Where I first saw the light,
This not only happens through the day
But in my dreams at night.
The reason that we emigrated
I must admit was strong,
Yet often to myself I muse
Did we do right or wrong?
We're happy to be with our boys
Still deep down in our heart,
We feel the pull of Scotland
And know we are a part.
Right now we have our memories
Of happy cycling days,
When with Johnstone Wheelers
We travelled your highways.
Your mountains and your rivers
Those heather clad hills and glens,
Your lovely trees and wild flowers
And those humble but and bens.
It's nice here in New Zealand
To that I must agree,
But those who want can have it
It's "SCOTLAND YET" for me.
nothing against England they deserve to be in the final ,but i,ll have to
put my support behind South Africa in the hope they can restore some
pride in southern hemisphere Rugby.
cheers Rob
Hi Harry
British first /scottish secound .
Hi Rob
It was good to see this time around people here have taken the loss
for the most part in their stride ,in previous cups the media etc got
a little carried away ,mobs with burning torches etc awaiting the coaches
as they arrived back in the country .
cheers Rob
I dont know too much about politics in Scotland , but I did read
that devolution hadent delivered as much as people had hoped ?
cheers Rob
