What a glorious evening I experienced with my wife and son- the return of Rush after 10 years was an epic triumph and a moving tribute to Neil Peart. They opened with Xanadu- I could have went home after that and been completely satisfied. It was sheer ecstasy. The entire show was tremendously uplifting. 24 well selected songs performed with precision and grace including many of my favorites like Bravado, Red Sector A, La Villa Strangiato, Red Barchetta, Limelight, Caravan, Fry Cry, Natural Science, Freewill, Dreamline, Time Stand Still (with Aimee Man!), Subdivisions, By-tor and the Snow Dog, The Garden, 2112 Overture/ Temples/Grand finale, etc. Times like these are few and far between. What a blessing to witness this with my family. The links below do no justice but give you an idea. I selected side clips so you can see the performance of Anika Nilles. She was brilliant throughout and has great chemistry with the Rush. She's a perfect fit and compliment to Peart while also maintaining her own style and method. She was fantastic and flourished under intense pressure, a most powerful feel good moment for the ages. I'm very thankful that she and Rush found each other.

Thanks for the review! My wife, kids and I are seeing Rush at Madison Square Garden on July 28th and we can’t wait!

Super cool Joe! (And Louis enjoy). I saw Rush about 5 times total and they never disappointed. I am unfortunately not going to be able to see this show this time around whcih is a major disappointment to me. Xanadu is an incredible opener!!!!!!

You're welcome! I should have noted a spoiler alert regarding the setlist. However, they will be changing up the set list every show. They have multiple different set lists for this tour, so they will vary each night. I imagine the staples will remain the same along with the tribute to Neil Peart songs, but they have many songs that they will be shuttling in and out of the setlist so it's not the same presentation night after night. I'm glad to hear you and your family get to experience this- enjoy!

I hope you can find a way to go to one of the shows Tom! It's really a fantastic experience and production, and it's filled with emotion. Who knows if they'll tour again after this. My son is going again tomorrow night, and then he is going to see them in a few weeks in Mexico too.
