Russian miniatures (1 Viewer)

More pictures.
Sorry for the too dark pictures of the mounted teutonic figure.

The sitting samurai figure is the most gorgeous non combatting figure in my collection.... and the one my wife prefers the most :)

Next time I will take pictures will be under artificial studio kind of lighting.

Cheers

Alex

& some more. Nothing wrong in collecting 'multiples' of the same miniature :)

Who makes that seated Samuri? Is that AeroArt? I love that!

The seated Samuri is made by Tayana Gapchenko's studio, Nevskaya Miniatures.

Such a stunning collection Alex! I love your new mounted Crusader, and the Saracen on the camel is as good as it gets. Thanks again for giving us a look at your miniature museum!

Hi Alex,
Your collection is incredible dream that any enthusiast would have figurines (me first).
The beauty and variety of your pieces are simply works of art!{eek3}
Awesome.
Best.{bravo}}
Guy.

Of the new figures, the Samurai is my favorite. Exquisite. I know the painting is phenomenol on all of them but on the Samurai it seems a step above.

Yes I feel very fortunate to have already such a collection. I also feel very happy about the fact that the painters themselves are well paid. Tatiana is, before being someone running a studio, a great painter herself. All the cheers should go to them :)

since I saw Frank s pictures of the same seated samurai, i knew i 'needed' one in my collection.
It is absolutely gorgeous and I can't recommand him enough if you like samurai figures like I do.

happy collecting and bidding for Joe :)

cheers

Hi Alex,

Absolutely beautiful displays of art you have there, every piece just seems to come to life with the colors, uniforms, body portions, facial features, congratuations on owning such works of art and for sharing it here as well...Sammy

I googled "Nevskaya Miniatures" goes to a Russian language website - no return for "Tayana Gapchenko"

Any dealer carrying this line one can purchase from ?

Are the figures 60mm or 1/30 ?

There is a seller on eBay that sells Samurai toy soldiers and he has painted 2 different versions of the seated samurai. His eBay user ID is kolobob. I have a couple of his pieces and they are works of art. I plan on getting the seated samurai also. Here is a link to 1 of the versions he did:

You can visit her website at :

You can order directly from her or through Boris on eBay
Figures are generally same size as FL pictures.. Less beefier than KC for example.
