I agree, its good to see this uniform camo type.I may be wrong here but wasn't this uniform unpopular and phased out because of its likeness to German camo and resulted in some friendly fire incidents?.This vehicle really looks cool doesn't it,some great halftracks from Figarti right now.
Rob
That's correct Rob, I understand the camo gear was issued to several units for Operation Cobra but they swapped back to the field drab outfits in August. Btw, it seems by accident we got into a German held AA section here![]()
As if fighting the Germans in the Bocage wasn't bad enough, friendly fire was rubbing salt into a large open wound!
Rob
scale wise, the figures look too large for the vehicles, but design wise, the figures are excellent.
the vehicles are the real stars, excellent pieces.
That hurricane is in trouble now mate,a couple of these will fix it up.....................

Nah mate, that Hurricane will come roaring in to do pest control and out again before the Jerrries even know what hit em!

The figures don't look out of proportion to me, and I guess we should keep in mind that macro photos can make things look out of proportion. I especially like seeing the US Camo uniforms as I have several times suggested they would be great to see in 1/30 scale. Australian 'Ozcam' uniforms are partly based on these early US patterns: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Disruptive_Pattern_Combat_Uniform
THANK'S RICK.
maybe the jerries knew rob, and their grandsons make it a classic rock hit.![]()
Hey Nasir, this 251 is a really nice looking model, will you be getting one mate?
