scale wise, the figures look too large for the vehicles, but design wise, the figures are excellent.

the vehicles are the real stars, excellent pieces.

The figures don't look out of proportion to me, and I guess we should keep in mind that macro photos can make things look out of proportion. I especially like seeing the US Camo uniforms as I have several times suggested they would be great to see in 1/30 scale. Australian 'Ozcam' uniforms are partly based on these early US patterns: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Disruptive_Pattern_Combat_Uniform

THANK'S RICK.

I agree, its good to see this uniform camo type.I may be wrong here but wasn't this uniform unpopular and phased out because of its likeness to German camo and resulted in some friendly fire incidents?.This vehicle really looks cool doesn't it,some great halftracks from Figarti right now.

That's correct Rob, I understand the camo gear was issued to several units for Operation Cobra but they swapped back to the field drab outfits in August. Btw, it seems by accident we got into a German held AA section here :D

As if fighting the Germans in the Bocage wasn't bad enough, friendly fire was rubbing salt into a large open wound!

The German AA halftrack by itself looks fantastic. But Nasir is right, the crew that come with it seem to be way oversized (or the halftrack is undersized). I really hope this can be corrected before full scale production is started because it has the potential to spoil the set.

As for the LCT - simply amazing! Figarti's shock and awe items remains unequaled in the history of this hobby.

The figures look ok to me. The gunner standing in the turret ring takes up a lot of the picture making things look out of proportion as does the sprawling seated guy. I compared these photos to the K&C Mortar Half-track and to photos of the new K&C half-track and I can't really see any difference. I had a good look at the actual half-track model at the show and the figures looked in proportion to me.

:D

Hey Nasir, this 251 is a really nice looking model, will you be getting one mate?

Rob

i actually like this model very much rob, even more than the excellent walking stuka.that is why i hope the figures can be rectified scale wise. in the earlier works, i wont be too flustered as i used K&C figures (or now FL :)) with the superb figarti vehicles. but nowadays, figarti's figures had improved so much, i felt its a travesty not display them together with the vehicles, as rick had intended.

I'm no expert on scale, but the figures looked perfect to me. I agree with Terry, its a fantastic set, and I already ordered one at the show.
