Mmmm, will we see anything before the weekend ? Wouldn't mind seeing some Romans with cloaks on guard duty, think a Roman tent was mentioned earlier in the year as I think were a couple more ww2 vehicles.
Though what I'd really like to see is a few more Aussies in the jungle !

Steve

I am after the 'Home Front' figures, expected over the next 2 months. Robin.

Quite like some of the Romans in this months release myself. The Scorpion and crewman will no doubt be well received.

Steve

Is the FFL. Line dead. I could use a few more wounded or dead FFl.... some marching with out the backpack... Are we going to get a fort that was talked about. My boys need a home !!!!!

yes...
not to mention the testudo figures...
if you like Romans...
this is a banner month for you...
I was hoping for the grouping of Persians and lambda shield Spartans that TG mentioned last month...

Thanks Steve. That HF figure looks even better painted, coupled with all the accessories, a definite for my collection. Robin.

Another month loaded with Romans but no Roman enemies?

I wish someone could tell me where the arrows in the shield of ROM105 came from?

Hahaha ! Perhaps the wind changed direction when their own auxiliaries let loose with their arrows !

I like the pose of 109A but not the greaves.

Undecided on the Scorpion. can the firing position be altered up and down ?

Puzzles me. Kinda a one stance approach. Saw this with the FFL line, partially with the Greeks. C'mon TG give us some enemies of Rome^&grin

Lots of wonderful figures especially the HF002 refuge with luggage- a brilliant piece. However I'm puzzled as to why Crusaders ME005A & B have the same face as First Legion's CRU095? It's the same head right down to the helmet, bandaged left eye, and gambeson collar flap protruding out from the chain mail.

Joe:

Good eye. The similarities are striking.

TG does this...
as most manufacturers do to some degree...
always developing one side first...

and I don't mind that they concentrate on one side first...
as long as they don't run out of steam or lose interest on the combatant's development...

I think they did slow down largely on their French Foreign Legion series when it came time to develop the Arab contingent...
I ended up with a ratio of about 3 or 4 Legionnaires to every 1 Arab....
way more Legionnaires than Arabs...

and...

I'm still hoping more Persians are coming for their large offering of Spartans which I have amassed...

I like to keep both sides pretty equal in figures...

Mike:

Great post.

I am not sure how much more they need to develop the Romans? There are approximately 109 Romans (not including legion/shield variations) and only 11 enemies.

Jason...

you took the time to count them...^&grin...that's funny...
I did the same thing when I was campaigning for more Legionnaires...
still...it turned out to be a disproportionate mix...

I can certainly understand developing one side first...
most manufacturers do that...
the research involved is time consuming...
there are so many ideas that seem viable once you start sculpting...
it's probably easier for the manufacturer to do it this way...

and I don't mind...
as long as they are as enthusiastic of trying to match equal amounts once I have made a heady investment...

with that said...
more Persians please...^&grin

and TG...
let me say this in closing...

I love your product and the personal favors you have extended me...
