Are there any sets that you wished were repainted to suit a particular range or era that you like?:)

I think some of the WW1 figures on machine guns would go well with fields of battle!:D

Also the Winter Sherman in D-Day clours!:DI realise that this would be easy to make, and I am thinking of buying another and having Alex repaint it!:D

The Winter Geman stretcher team in Summer colours!:cool:

The D-Day White Scout car in Normandy American or Market Garden British Forces!:D:cool:

Anyone else?:D

I would really like a summer wounded Sherman aswell Scott i think its a must have for a repaint!!!
How about a DD98 Classic US Sherman in British markings? or maybe repainted to be in the 8th Army?
Also the BBA04 Friend or Foe set that had the jeep with the canvas roof up would be nice in a summer version.

I'm sure theres plenty of vehicles that would be cool repainted, but for me the figures from K&C are so individual and realistic that i wouldn't want them repainted. Each set is unique:).

I agree 100%, I first noticed this with the Vietnam series, as I began to acquire the figures I noticed how each figure was slightly different from others of the same figure. I never experienced this with the Britians figures I grew up with. Symbols on their helmets, lettering, shading each figure became unique developing its own personality.

When I began collecting the 1st Arnhem Series once again I noticed the same thing which is why these two Series remain my favorite. As the painting became more sophisticated I found the figures had become more uniform making it much more difficult to find the personality in each figure.

No complaints here, as the new castings and vehicles continue to get better and better, but those two series will always be special to me.:)

Would love to see that damaged winter Sherman done in Summer green, too. -- lancer

I do not know about repainted sets. What I would wish for was a larger place for more goodies and a larger, much larger bank account:p

I already did one repaint for myself - the winter M10 into a summer ("Normandy") scheme.

The little M3A1 Scout Car from the BBA series would be much more appropriate in Tunisian colors and markings for the US Army.

To earlier posters, yes the "Strictly Limited" M4A1 could be painted into British NWE colors but not Eighth Army. The British didn't sandbag their tanks like that (at least very often) - they seemed to prefer extra track sections welded on. The "Classic Sherman" or "Wounded Sherman" could also be repainted into British markings. With a bit of grinding on the transmission cover it could also be used for Eighth Army.

The Elefant in eastern front camo. I remember seeing a repaint on here, it looked great.
