I'm really pleased with my Sherman. It's my first HB purchase and it's been worth waiting for.
Just a couple of things

1. Some of the pieces like the gun seem very fragile and need careful handling.

2. The packaging does a great job of protecting the vehicle but I can see it being very difficult to put all the bits back in the box if I ever need to put it away!

Minor stuff though as the tank itself is very cool and extremely well detailed.

From these new photos it appears the decals have a rather glossy film around them that i do not recall from your previous models, is this the way the new shermans will come?

No, Ray, the decals get matt finished after transferring them to the tank. But they might have a satin look because of the light we use for the photographs. We use the same decals for all our tanks so they should look as the ones from the Barkmann's panthers, the Winter panther, etc. Have you had the chance to see them?

Hello Ana,
That's great news, yes I've seen and own the panthers, I haven't noticed any of these issues with them and thats why I was concerned.

Re: HB Sherman

I received my 5 HB Sherman(3 customized & 2 as is)...WOW! They really look great in person. Very detailed. I love the rough textured metal look finish (v.s. KC smooth finish).

The packaging is remarkably improved compared to the German Field Kitchen and amphbious Jeep which were wrapped in layers of bubble wrap.

customized directions were followed to a tee. Great customer service!

I cannot wait (and excited) for the next release...will be waiting for the tank riders in summer version

I'm with Arnold I love the textured cast iron hull and turret and it goes well with K&C.
