Shock and Awe 2009 (1 Viewer)

Best Shock & Awe item ever. But, this was my guess so I'm not too shocked. Awed? Yes.

Did Rick give a price for the M16 Halftrack?

So, what was 'MP3', a meaningless codename, Figarti's Operation Fortitude to confuse us?

Did they have all this stuff at the show? Would like to see a picture of the JS-2. ;)

Unbelievable. I'm speechless.................that boat is phenomenal! It looks so realistic I can't believe my eyes. Figarti saying well done doesn't seem to do this scene justice. Thanks for the picks desk11desk12

This is truly the Golden Age of the toy soldier hobby.:D:D:D:D

What comes with the craft?I wouldn't think any of the tanks or trucks come with it.It would be great but not reality.:p:p:p

I've only collected Iraq and Vietnam from Figarti, but I have to say that I am both shocked and awed by this piece.

THAT is what I call a naval vessel. Well done.

(Oh - and perhaps stupid question - is this 1/32 or 1/30?)

Incredible news Brad! :)Thanks for procuring and reporting all of this data and schedule. Just unbelievable! It's great to see so many allied vehicles being produced "the Figarti way" and so soon on the heals of so many already smokin' releases! And a LCT? Wasn't that a MASSIVE ship:eek:? Once again this is just fantastic news. Thanks again for taking the time to report. Hope everyone is having the time of their life at the show :D!

OMG! Just saw Carlos' pics of the LCT! What a jaw dropper!!!! I'm certain it's out of my price range unless I don't buy anything for almost 1-1/2 years, but what an achievment. Congrats due to Rick and Co. yet again! I am awe struck, and don't know what else to say.

Carlos, thanks again for the outstanding photos and for taking the time to share your experience with all of us who wish we were there! :)

I just can't get enough of this great news- can't wait to see the four D-day sets and the American Priest!

LCT = Landing Craft Tank.

I think that K&C was thinking of the LCM (Landing Craft Mechanized).

LCM = 1 medium tank or equivalent. Operates ship to shore. Some of these were trucked overland and used for the Rhine crossing in 1945. Armed with 2 X .50cal MG

LCT = 5-6 medium tanks and maybe a couple jeeps. Sea going vessel (to a certain extent). For Opn Neptune (DDay) these were loaded in England and sailed across the channel. Armed with 2-4 X 20mm guns.

Gary B.

Thank you very much.
The Figarti pictures explain it now.:D
