I was just thinking about the ostn chicago show in sept 2010 and of course besides the treefrog dinner the one thing i am looking forward to is the figarti suprise. From anzio annie to the dday beaches there have been some great ones. This year my guess is that they do a german night fighter base. They could have the heinkel 219, and an me 110 among others. Secret hangers as well as other equipment. Do any of you think i might be right or do you have other ideas?

I wonder if they might do a 1/30 scale Horsa glider?.

The Bridge at Arnhem with their own Market Garden range ?

Knowing Rick it is all planned out by now. He's probably just working on the camouflage "joke" or clever rumor to keep us guessing. Remember the year that a U-Boat was rumored? We walked into the dining room and there was a "U-Boat shaped" pile in the table. When the reveal actually came, it was a bunch of Figarti boxes piled to create the shape. Rick has a quiet but ornery sense of humor!

I asked Rick a few months ago if he had come up with a shock and awe piece for this year and he said he had decided on one - but somehow he neglected to tell me what it is?:D

When I was at the Factory about 10 days ago Rick told me it was all done and they had been careful to hide any traces of it from me. I wonder why that was:eek:

Anyway, that's all he would tell me about it; no surprise there :)

I just think because of the recent tren with airplanes that it would be something themed around the air war, of course it is just a guess

Based on what he said, which didn't give me any insight, I would say not.

Hoping for a Churchill bridge layer or flame thrower

I've mentioned to Clive once or two million times I'd love to see Figarti do a Churchill Crocodile,to his credit he has yet to scream 'For the love of God stop asking'!!:D.

Yes hopefully there will be new armour for us to drool over in Chicago:cool:
