My son just walked up with the brochure...

HMS Victory...complete with 40 figures.

Reichsbahn....1:30 German Railway...

I'm sure the pics will follow. I get to be first :)

From the brochure...

"With the greatest pleasure, Figarti Miniatures proudly introduces its interpretation of the raising of one of the most recognized signals in British history. The centerpiece is the toy soldier scale HMS Victory (item #HMS01). Done the Figarti Way, this massive ship (1.77 m in height and 1.63 meters in length and 0.57 meters in width) is built entirely from wood with string rigging and real canvas sails. The Victory will include Lord Nelson, Captair Hardy, Captain Blackwood, Signal Lt. Pasco, Royal Marine Capt. Adair, other officers, Royal Marines, and crew to recreate the raising the signal."

And the other...

"Answering the wishes of many collectors, Figarti Minuatures proudly introduces it's 1:30 scale "Reichsbahn" line to recreate the WWII German railway system, tasked with moving material and personnel throughout the German Reich and conquered terrritories. The showpiece is our massive 78cm "BR52" locomotive. In the striking black livery with contrasting red wheels a single engineer figurine and section of railway track. Done the Figarti Way, the BR52 has a highly detailed engine cabin with photo-etched piping, the buffers contain springs so they compress like the real thing, and the railway track is hand spiked to real wood ties."

It was only a matter of time before we got a Locomotive !! HMS Victory didn't expect that.........

the offering of a locomotive now lends itself to additional cars from time to time so still hope for an armoured train. Can't wait to see the pics

Rick had sent me an e-mail a while back concerning our dioramas, which was forwarded a few times. I read back through the consecutive e-mails....I saw mention of the 4 HMS Victorys to be shipped to Chicago...

.....This was about 3 weeks ago.....So that was it.....

Haven't seen the pictures yet, but am slightly dissappointed. Was hoping that since Rik said that there would be a number of items, that this could lead to a price reduction and affordability! Will still be excited to see the images, but am afraid that once again these "awe" issues will be above what I can afford. Would still like to see a couple of "affordable" issues; will keep everything crossed!

Is the luncheon being video taped this year?? I'm assuming there are more items other than the shock and awe that will be presented.
