As I occasionally receive requests for photos of different products next to each other I have decided to start a thread on this!
Basically a "Toy Soldier Line-up" so you can see different ones next to each other. As I do these, since they are already out of the box, I will also post photos of the figures with a ruler in the individual product pages on our site.

First up is this morning's request! First Legion Vikings with W. Britain's Vikings/Wrath of the Northmen:

Re: Scale Comparison Photos - Various Manufacturers

Glad I waited for FL. WB's are good value, but I like the FL a lot more.

Re: Scale Comparison Photos - Various Manufacturers

This should serve as a good reference for many collectors. Looking forward to some First Legion WWII and Britains WWII paired up for comparison !

Re: Scale Comparison Photos - Various Manufacturers

Great job Julie. Size comparisons between manufacturers are very valuable; since their is no standardization and a nominal 60 mm figure can range from 58 to 70 mm depending on who made it and where. The W. Britains and First Legion figures are quite compatable IMO. Kens Fallschirmjager are some of the highest quality WWII figures available today and are an accurate 60mm size.

Keep up the excellent work and I think their could be a reference book in your future!

Re: Scale Comparison Photos - Various Manufacturers

I have a request Julie, could you post a photo of scale comparison of the K&C Winter IV with a First Legion winter troop??...Sammy

King & Country's BBG065 - First Legion's GERSTAL052 & 057 - W. Britain's 25043

BBG065-GERSTAL057-052-25043-2.jpg
King & Country's BBG065 - First Legion's GERSTAL057 & 052 - W. Britain's 25043

NOR037-25038-25043-GERSTAL057-052.jpg

Re: Scale Comparison Photos - Various Manufacturers

Yes, thank you. That is very helpful.

Could you do the same with King and Country Sd. Kfz. 250/11 WH049 and FL / WB figures?

If you have a WS121 that would be great, too.

Julie,

I think you've done something that's really hit a chord with collectors and all done the Treefrog way, without acrimony. Congrats.

Re: Scale Comparison Photos - Various Manufacturers

I agree, very helpful.......toy soldier collectors do like uniformity, however.

It clearly appears the WB 1/32 scale figures go along with the FL figures.........which look more like 1/32 scale versus 1/30 scale !
