Traveled to Lancaster PA on Thursday to attend the aptly named Cold Wars Wargaming convention; went north, west and then south to do my best to avoid the snow.
Forecast was calling for 1-3 inches in Lancaster, ending around noon.
As I got to Reading PA around 1:00PM, the snow was coming down sideways, 3 to 6 inches on the ground, as got onto 222 to get to Lancaster, it got worse, 222 looked like a cross country ski slope. Accidents, spin outs, trucks jackknifing, unbelievable.
I was told in PA they wait until the snow stops before the plow.
What a brilliant plan; I got there in one piece, took about 9 hours.............the winter that just does not want to end.
