I really like your idea of the proceeds going to a worthwhile charity. I wonder if any of the auction houses would cooperate on their fee! Thanks for your response.

I dont know a single collector this side of the pond who would want 1500 Yanks & Rebs-in fact seriously I dont know of a single charity in the UK who would even know the difference between a Confederate and Union figure let alone know how to advertise them for auction

Thank you sir. No one at my house really gets anything from them as it is, so why give them stuff which they may not appreciate. I can see them maybe wanting a piece or two but beyond that, I think they are better off serving a greater good.

I am also going to donate my Military History library to the Army War College here in Carlisle Pa.
