Nice grouping of vehicles indeed. but, I would still like to see an airman being carried to safety by some brave ground crew. That for me, would be a great release
Mitch

And how good is the Bowser,Tilly and RAF Ambulance going to look together?!{bravo}}

Does anyone have a price on this fuel truck yet??? It seems like an interesting piece if your really into RAF but for me not exactly something I'm going to get into a panic mode over.....If K/C produces too few...well...that's quite a loss of sales for K/C and likely increased profits for the speculators:wink2:......but given increased retail prices these days and a depressed secondary market it is not likely to be large profits for speculators....If you like it; buy it.. but not because your "afraid" of not getting one....Life does goes on after the fuel truck:wink2:

Just a few days and we will find out if these are in the next Dispatches^&cool

Cheers

Oh yes, I forgot about these RAF Fuel Tankers, they will be in Dispatches next week, so even more that we already know about.......

Well the poll shows its pretty close really, with all versions proving popular with collectors here.

Rob

Hopefully we will see the Desert version pics in Dispatches.

Got to say I'm a bit shocked at the price of £249.00 for the fuel truck , then you look at Figarti do the Matador truck for £168.00 your talking a extra £80.00 + {eek3} lot of money for just a truck :rolleyes2:

Cheers Forum Squadron Members,

I have been waiting a long, long time for this release. Unfortunately, my diorama set ups will require two of the RAF version & one Normandy version. I have been waiting & saving so the time is now. What stunning sets by the way!

Mines getting re-painted....................{sm4}

I see K&C are saying RAF027 was used in WW2 but I'm sorry to say the blue & yellow paint pattern was only used after the war :redface2:
Wartime Bedford QL tanker stuff

Bedford was introduced in 1941 so could be:
Dark earth/dark green (up to August 1941)
Khaki green with light green/grey-green pattern (up to August 1942)
Khaki green with dark grey pattern (up to September 1943)
Khaki brown with black pattern (up to June 1944)
Olive drab with black pattern (up to September 1944)
Olive drab (up to April 1946)
Post 1946 - RAF blue/yellow as per the Airfix kit.

Interesting, I did not know that, I don't think this will stop it selling though. Just another in a long line errors across the manufacturing board
