Hey Ken,
I have this version from Corgi, odd looking but good. As Terry and Bill said he had others and plenty of them so we are good for take off!.From intel gathered I understand these are selling like Hot cakes from the hottest part of a pretty hot oven!

RAF Pilot notes are like USAF aircraft manuals and all aircraft have them. They are not a miniature of anything but rather a brief summary of the essential details on certain aircraft characteristics and settings. The WWII versions, as you may have notice, are relatively sparce, especially the RAF fighter ones.Back when I first started collecting the newly introduced Corgi 1:72 scale diecast aircraft, one of the first ones I got was 49005 Alan Deere Mark I Spitfire. Of the Corgi Spitfires, it was the only one I remember coming with a pilot's notes booklet which I think was a miniature copy of the manual on how to fly the Spitfire, handling characteristics, fuel mixtures, etc.

I finally ordered the Spit. I will hold off on the ambulance but will likely get one. I would like to have a fuel truck even more. I will certainly get at least a couple more figures, including one of the female variety. There are so many amazing releases from so many manufacturers this year (especially since I collect Civil War too); it is hard to decide.

Cheers:
Keep in mind that K&C is only producing 250 units of the ambulance! You might want to move that one to the top of the list. Hey, you might get your fuel truck with the RAF mystery vehicle being released in September!
