So here is the story which I would like to share and hear thoughts on. I bought an LAH band from a member here...it came damaged (inproperly packaged). The member said send it back!...I sent it back only to receive a rotten/hateful email that I don't need to extend on. A few weeks pass and another member emails me and tells me he knows someone near me (125 miles away) who has a large LAH collection for sale, which so happens to contain another LAH band...I call this person with the LAH collection and make arrangements to meet him at his place of work and look over the LAH collection personally. I meet him yesterday and he is presentable and seems to be quite a nice guy...as I'm reviewing the items, I'm conversing with him and ask what he does...he tells me...I asked him what type of jobs he is working on and he tells me something about his job specifically that sparks an alarming reaction within me. Turns out that about one week after returning the LAH band to a completely non-related third party person I got a mis-mailed envelope to my addresss at work titled to me but surely intended to another party in another state...the envelope contained the specific information he spoke of when I asked what he was working on...so the twist...the guy with the LAH collection claims no connection to the man I bought the LAH band from though they only live within 25 miles from one another...since the man with the collection claims to have no connection with the man with LAH band...how does the man with the LAH collection obtain my address and mail me by accident? To the best of my 24 hour investigation skills I conclude this...The man I bought the LAH band from originally here on the forum had been consigned or agreed verbally to sell it for the man with the LAH collection...once sold the member here contacted the collector and had him mail it to me directly (which is how he "the collector" obtained my address) and had the collector write the members return address on the box shipped to me to look as if it didn't come from elsewhere...so when I returned the item to the member here, the member was stuck with the item and out the money which might reflect why I received the hateful email...anybody have any other ideas?

Rob's disease is no longer the most serious affliction on the forum ;):D:D

Sounds very suspicious and all toghether 'iffy' One of the reasons why I only buy face to face.
Mitch
Can you conclude any other possibilities than the one I offered as how someone I don't know mails me an envelope by mistake, titled to me which was directed to another "individual" in another state weeks before us ever meeting...all while keep in mind being connected in this strange circle of "LAH" happenings...

Anyone else ever listen to "Coast to Coast"...LOL!

When I read it I heard the sound track from the twighlight zone in my head

Odd yes but what does it matter if you can get what you want at a price you find fair? It all sounds strange but life has many odd twists which turn out not to make much difference. I buy things every week from people I have never met and it has always worked our fine for me.

Actually after about the third sentance I was totally confused!
It is a mass conspiracy. Did the guy you met arrive in a black helicopter?
I agree this could only be solved by listners of Art Bell!

Truth be told, that is right about where you lost me too; perhaps paragraphs would bring more flow to the post...........

Yes, I'm sure those at K & C curse the LAH range everytime they do their banking  :D

I think it is important to remember that only 2 complete LAH sets were ever released to the public, and they keep recirculating through these resales. You are either buying set A or B, so you can't be too fussy.

I will work on the paragraph thing and try to improve:eek:

Here is a link to the kooky website "Coast to Coast"

http://www.coasttocoastam.com/

I believe some of it actually and find it quite entertaining. Just turn the lights down low, tune in...then sitting naked in a bean bag chair eating potato chips and drinking Fanta soda...take me away Art!

Some past topics...
1) During the first half of the program, George Knapp welcomed writer Nick Carr, who thinks the Internet is forcing us to lose our contemplative brains for a distracted sampling of scanned bits of information...LOL!

2) Brain scans may guide a person toward the optimal career, new research suggests.

The results show people's cognitive strengths and weaknesses are linked to differences in the volume of gray matter in certain parts of the brain.

As such the findings offer "the possibility that brain scans could be used in the future to develop a profile of a person's gray matter in different areas of the brain (Oh how I'm setting myself up here)

3) 'Demonic' Tomato

On Thursday, I was out picking tomatoes from our garden and picked this one. To my amazement, it looked like a little devil.
"I WILL POST A PICTURE OF THE TOMATO IN THE FOLLOWING THREAD>>>
