I thought he was hurt, which is why he's not on the roster. I'm not sure how much he could help but I think his mental toughness would make a difference.

Sorry guys,yes he is injured and unable to play at all,but he was taken along because he is very popular with the troops and good for morale so to speak.

I'm getting tired of listening to the announcers hype the Argentinians. They may well be a great team but the Greeks are stopping them right well. The Argentinians haven't seemed all that impressive to me. Any minute now the Argentinians will explode. Any minute now... Of all the world cups I can remember this one has to remembered for the 'smaller' football nations going toe to toe with the big national teams.There may have been some boring draws but no one is rolling over or wants to go home.

Maybe he should have brought Posh , don't think she would have much trouble geeing up the team;) Seriously England need to show up tomorrow with the A game or they will get embarrassed . I think it's because it happens only every four years. I don't think you see this kind of passion during the regular soccer season. If you screw up like the French you have to wait for four years and some players never get a chance to appear on the stage again. Plus, you have two billion or so people watching and your country hanging on your every move. Not too much pressure there!

Haha,here in Slovenia we do not like Sasa Vujacic because he is an egomaniac.He think that he is something more than other players,the truth is he is just lucky to be in the squad in Lakers.He is not very popular in Slovenia,and we have a lot much more talanted players than Sasa Vujacic that also play in Nba,like Dragic,Udrih,Nesterovic,Brezec,....and some other that do not play in NBA but they are very good like Lakovic,Lorbek,Smodis,....they all are more popular than Sasa Vujacic.But i am happy for you that you like him haha so he have maybe more fans outside Slovenija.

Well i do not like Criatiano Ronaldo,you can say that i hate him,because he is so egomaniac,so much full of himself,but i like a lot of others Old Portugal Players:

-Joao Pinto
-Sa Pinto
-Fernando Couto
-Paulo Sousa
-Vittor Baia

Should be an interesting night for Australia. We have the football match at 0430 hours. Then at 0900 hours the Government Members of Parliament will be voting tomorrow to possibly vote out the serving Prime Minister and vote in the first female (just for general interest and no political comment). Seems we need Ghana to beat Germany. If Germany and Ghana draw then Australia only have to score 7 goals against Serbia to go the next round. No pressure.
