Just saw the 10th episode. Hard not to give a lot away, but a whole lot of the major characters won't be coming back! The blood did indeed flow in this episode. I'm assuming this is the last of the season.

Yes it was the last episode but the exective producer came on saying that season 3 will be even bigger and badder then the first 2 seasons.Now we have to wait until 2113.{eek3}

2013 is a bit of a wait. I think I'll switch back to regular cable for a while.

Good show. I knew what was coming between the 2 evil gals, but was stilled shocked when it took place.

It will have to be bigger and Badder now. Thank goodness for CGI.

I wonder who will play Pompey if the series makes it that far. I would love to see Ciaran Hinds play the roll. He did such a great job in "Rome".

Has anyone else noticed, that if the new actor playing Sparticus had a scar on his cheek, he'd be the dead spit of an "Action Man" figure? He's even got the same hair!^&grin

Great show indead. The scene in episode 8 where the big german guy "lost" his brain was the roughest IMO.

Wait 'til 2013 !?

They must have run out of fake blood. That's propably the reason why the wait 'til next year :wink2:

I've just seen this scene for the first time and must confess felt quite sick. My wife has watched some episodes of this and has struggled with the violence, but she really won't want to to see that. Have to ask you guys, what do you think, real need for it or is it just trying to shock now???

We ARE the mob in the arena. They have run out of ordinary gruesome slayings, so each episode they are going all out for shock value. The crowd likes it.
Oh well, On to next season and the forging of the Spartacus ARMY.
