Nice original piece. I never saw a picture of the SS in ceremonial uniforms handling a dog but that doesn't mean they didn't. I will be purchasing it.

I think there has been some work on the rope for sure as the promo pic looked terrible. Nice figure but, agree about the need for guard dogs when they were on guard duty or ceremonial duties. Odd choice but, looks ok with it.
Only dogs I have pictures of with the SS were at Berghoff and, the SS were in their standard grey uniforms. Same at the leichterfeld barracks but, they were on patrol outside the gates. Have some five thousand pics in my own collection of the LAH and a large number of books which, have never shown ceremonial troops with dogs. Stand to be proven wrong but, I think this is a fancy doing that from Andy

Sepp is gonna chew him out for getting hair on that uniform. And white gloves aren't a good choice for cleaning up the dog's mess
