Stalingrad 1942-43 (2 Viewers)

Frank, Simply the BEST....AS USUAL.....Really like the bombed out buildings.....You are the "King of Stalingrad Dioramas":salute:::salute:::salute::

Hi Frank,

Amazing pictures as always. You could make movie sets!
Do you collect any other brands aside from First Legion? Would probably be tough to top the detail of the First Legion figures and vehicles.

They do look like movie sets.

Armored Infantry Company from 24.Panzer-Division stops to deal with a threat from a copse to the right of the road.

The terrain really assists with disguising the bases making the scene much more realistic. Like the buildings also. Great layout. Robin.

Beautiful pictures as always; and so realistic!

This one is my personal favorite:

Thanks for the positive comments guys. Hope to reconfigure the scene with Soviet forces this week.

Unless it is hand-to-hand combat, I think it is very difficult in a WWII scenario to show opposing forces in one photo. Advantage napoleonics.

Some urban combat scenes such as Kharkov, Stalingrad and Berlin also work. But many do not.

Thanks Robin,

Playing with my new Build-a-Rama mat. I've added the snow.

Should have got that wagon at the time, but I was not collecting Winter than. Great piece long retired. Robin.
