You get the impression that they have been defeated by the weather. As usual a realistic scene done so well. Robin.

It would be very cool to get some Romanian, Hungarian, and even Italian soldiers on the Eastern Front. A long neglected group in the toy soldier world. There were also a large number of Russians fighting for the Germans at Stalingrad. Something like 25% of the 6th Army were Russians.

I agree!!! Frank, you have truly mastered the art of realistic diorama pictures. Your work could pass for an actual photo taken during the war itself.
