Startup of a Normandy Hedge grow Diorama (1 Viewer)

Thanks again for the nice comments guys. I'm really hoping that FL will do FJs to counter the American Airborne. Either way FJ or SS I would still be pleased.

I think if FL do FJ's and Waffen SS that will break the dam ... I will be looking hard at the camo.... so far so good German Zelts are a 10 , Russian Camo Coveralls 10 and the Helmet covers for the new Nam figures look pretty good as well . The test for me will be Para Smocks and the varied patterns of the Waffen SS , yea I'm a Camo geek ^&grin I've been buying WSS zelts since they were 50 bucks ^&grin some go for 1000's now . The plane tree patterns bring the most about 3,000 . Oops sorry got side tracked , always in the market just in case :redface2:.. Regards Gebhard

Wow! this dio really does look sharp. Can't wait to see some US paras dropped into it.

Well I had to turn the building around to get the MG in the picture but here are a couple quick pics of this dio with some Airborne.

Hello Joe,
beautiful, beautiful photos
impressed by the quality of the decorations, beautiful realization of this Normandy in summer: we believe it!!{eek3}
landscape very similar.
I live 80 km from Avranches and St-Lô 150 ......
Thank you and congratulations.{bravo}}

Wow, this has really turned out to be a fantastic dio ! It's been fun to watch your progress, not to mention the final product.
BTW, looks like that German is about to have a very bad day with that bazooka round headed his way...

Thanks for the kind words fellas. I know some were concerned about the accuracy of the figures because of the chevrons. Let me just say that it would be a mistake to pass on these guys because of it. They are really well done and the photos don't do them the justice they deserve. With a little strategic positioning the chevrons can be hidden on the few figures that have them.

This set reminds me of "Saving Private Ryan"

Here are a couple paras that landed in a field somewhere in Normandy and are trying to find some cover.
