I was at the First one with big Arty starting the first fight and hammering NSW into the ground. This is a contact sport and a hit in the head is just part of it. Next they will try to make Rugby League into soccer and you can't touch the man with the ball. Chris.
 
I was kinda resigned to the run ending this year, especially after Qld looked so old/slow in the first half of the first game. But the three halfs since have geen good - superb! It also seemed poetic as seven is one of those numbers that seems right - seven wonders, seven samauri, seven years of plenty, seven year itch etc. But I'd be really happy if it turns out to be eight!

Yea I miss the good old days too...the late 80's to early 90's just had those great household names that everyone knew!.....and the odd dust up was just part of Origin.

It is all a matter of perspective.

You are right. Why would any recent NSW players be considered a household name {sm4}. Now if they win Game 3 they might start being considered as household names like such players as Inglis, Smith, Slater, Hodges, Thaiday, Scott, Cronk etc. are in Qld.
 
Well at least an Australian team is guaranteed to win this competition.
 
The streaker made things very confusing there with three minutes to go. I think he faces at least a $5K fine and public outrage. NSW have a right to feel unlucky but each time they got close Qld almost always had a die-hard defender or three throwing themselves in the way.

The result also means I have won a cake from a co-worker!

It was a fair result imo, funny thing is I didn't notice the streaker until play was stopped,
