OK - Here is the comparison- K&C Civil War - Old and New Figures.

Sorry about the focus - I am using an old Sony Camera

I did side by side comparisons for everyone to see and make up there own minds.

Thanks for the pictures Ron

Now how do they stack up (in size) against your Britain's/Conte Rebs

Family is good......cant wait to introduce you all to Bryce!

I'm trying to figure out what scale this one is. It looks quite a bit smaller than the son that I have in my collection, though I've had mine longer (10 years). In fact, the son in my collection isn't all that far off in scale from the wife in my collection! I think over time the scale may change on these boys - which makes it hard to figure out how to display them.

The sculpting is excellent - whoever made this one knows what they are doing! I look forward to seeing him in person!

Yeah...even at 9 weeks old I have noticed that his scale changes quickly....from the 8lbs when he came home to his current 13lbs. We have always discussed the soldiers getting "fatter" in scale....but I could never tell.

From the picture of the two figures, I would prefer the standing figure over the mounted one. The sculpt looks just a little finer, as does the painting, on the foot figure, IMO. Though, they are both very well done.

Prost!

It is interesting - they can go with all Conte & Britians (although a bit larger) - but the New K&C Civil War figures match up very well with all the others - actually better than the old.

I was quite surprized when I put them together how close the Old and New K&C figures came to a match - I always thought that the Old would be much bigger - from the photos you can see its not that bad after all.

For those that do not know the line, which is the new?

These are the new figures for your review. There will be a test later this month ;)
