I realize that the Junkers '88 is clearly too big for polystone. I was wondering about a Stuka though? I've been drooling for a desert Stuka that I saw on e-bay, but it's a warbird that's way out of my price range.

Also...does anyone know if K&C plans to make any polystone aircraft with desert markings (besides Rommel's plane)?

Marksable....

Should think its fine to do one in polystone perhaps if Andy is veiwing he could let us know the practicalities of using this medium and what aircraft he would consider producing and what is unpractical.

It is a business and I am sure if there is a way he would want it done. Perhaps a polystone body and some form of medium for the wings on larger aircraft?

Rob, these are wooden models, correct?
Don't forget, there is a new player in the airplane game who is "gunning" for K&C!;)

No these are the new Polystone babies, they may be gunning, but K&C are still producing superb aircraft, their Hurricane that I have is excellent:cool::cool:

That's great news.

P-38 Lightning!!! Since we're already getting the Thunder(bolt):D

A Lightning would be about 15" long & 20-1/2" wing span...:)

A Stuka just 1" shorter than a Lightning on L & W....;)

I've known about the poly Stuka since it was announced and am also really hoping it comes in a desert paint scheme. If we're dreaming, I'd really like to see an HE-111.

Hi Guys,

Yes, you’re right the JU87 is on our “Polystone List” as are quite a few others that I’ve not already hilighted.

As for dreaming… I also dream about a polystone, affordable He.111… However, the more I dream about it… the more my dream turns into a nightmare!

Best wishes and happy flying.
Andy C.

P.S. Look out for more polystone and metal warbird news when “DISPATHCES” comes out in a few hours time!

Andy,

Is there no other affordable medium that can be used on the wings of the aircraft and still use polystone/metal for the fusilage? I don't know much about your moulding process but, I am sure collectors would still purchase some of the bigger planes even if the wings were not polystone?
