Hi Guys,

What I’ve said to more than one collector on several different occasions is that K&C is looking at a variety of different ways and options to manufacture Stukas (and other aircraft). Metal is indeed one of those different options…but not the only one.
I also said that when and if we find a suitable way forward I would like to provide at least three different paint schemes for different “theatres of operations”… No more, no less. That’s where we are at this moment in time… Hope it clarifies our position.
Also, while I’m here… Mitch, are you suggesting that my “November comment” was “sarky” or “a shot across the bows”? As far as targets go… I think K&C and yours truly have been more the “victim” of “offensive” and “crass” comments than the perpetrator.
In the meantime Guys… have a great weekend and…happy collecting!

Andy...

Not at all I was merely speaking about manner and tones of posts from collectors and manufacturers. I did say that should posts come across as that then everyone is open for a similar reply. Should I have thought that then I would certainly have said so. I would hope that everyone knows now that I will say what I think and feel at the time.

I do think that you get a share of the critique of your products as do all the mainstream 1/30th guys. That is what the forum is all about is it not??

Anyway enough of this. Thanks for clarifying the position on the Stuka its always much better to hear from the horses mouth than rumours from collectors no matter how well intentioned they always have an embelished version by the time they get to everyone else.

From what you say, does this mean that we are still in the planning stage with no decision as to what is the best medium to crack the stuka and, thus some way off for a variant to be released?

Finally, a sturmtiger could easily be done in your choosen medium polystone and, would not cause as many headaches. Thanks for reading!!!
Mitch

What i read into this is maybe 1 day we might get a STUKA + other aircraft, and me personally i am happy with that no hurry as long as it comes one day............:)
What its made of is purely and simply the people who know what there on about not me,i wouldn't have a clue everything i have from K&C so far is superb so i have no doubt it will be good.

Andy,

Thanks for the clarification about the Stuka. It sounds as if you're in the same position as you were before Panzer Ace posted his "news," a case of exuberance and wish fulfillment I suppose.

Have a good weekend as well.

Alright, to avoid the potential blowup I will take a moment and put this out there as delicately as possible...but a point I do believe needs to be said.

I guess it just puzzles me, nevermind, I'll send a pm..........

Well said Wayne, by the way, the Stuka in your pic at the bottom of your posts is just the camo scheme I'd like^&cool

Yeah me to mate me to..................:)

It is the Battle of Britain scheme isn't it Wayne? I believe there was another that was sky blue underneath with a yellow nose, also cool. I think the Stuka , along with the Tiger and 88mm has to be one of the most iconic German weapons of the War, classic dive bomber shape.

Maybe Andy was high on the cheese and vino and Helen smacked him afterwards! ^&grin

Fess up Andrew^&cool

To be quite honest they did have wine and cheese there !!! {sm3} Anyway in the conversation with Andy after he mentioned the Russian items coming out in the 2nd quarter of next year, the info about 3 stuka versions and the use of metal as to their composition was brought up. No definitive timeline for release was given and I did not ask as Andy mentioned the plan was still being finalised. I think there is a lot of enthusiasm by collectors to have a K&C Stuka....or 3 released ! Myself being one of them. :wink2: Now.......Time for some cheese and Wine......Hah.

Maybe it was a marketing issue aimed at Figarti who announced they will have them on show at the December show!!!
Cracking cheese Gromit!!!!
