Sudan Campaigns 1880 - 1898 (14 Viewers)

Lawrence,
I'm so happy and glad we have a Nile Gunboat in NYC! Great stuff!

I am pretty sure there is a Trophy Nile Boat Steamer in NYC. I saw one hiding behind a few Panzers at a Louis' museum. Much more convenient if you chaps are going to organize a commando raid to liberate one. I think he may also have a Hick's Attwell armoured train suitable for Boer War or Sudan.

Wow, this boat is bigger then a Trophy one...How long is it? I hear that Hicks Attwell passed away some time ago...I wonder for how much these boats go now?

The boat is about 25 inches long. Not sure if the boat is bigger than the Trophy version as I sadly do not have a Trophy one to compare it to.

I believe the Trophy boat is about 39" long, Damian will confirm the correct size;)

Mike,

Alas, I lack the skills of a craftsman. The base was made by Gordon of King & Country. One of two made by Gordon that I use when playing:D

All the best,

Been there, done that:D "Borrowed" his Trophy sets and returned them without him noticing;) He is easily distracted with his search for K&C, Figarti, Honour Bound, Heco.... Add a couple of young children to the mix and it's like taking candy from a baby:p So Mike, are you up for a "road trip?":D

Watched "Young Winston" last night.
I realized that one Nile Boat Steamer is not enough.
You need at least three, plus ten artillery pieces and thousands of madhi and and and .........

I suggest you watch Khartoum tonight.

For every Nile Boat Steamer, you need at least 3 attacking Dervish dhows and and and................
