Hello Martyn,

Excellent display. Trophy did such a fantastic job with the Sudan series.

It is great to see senior officers at a planning session on the eve of a battle.

Thanks for sharing.

Best, Raymond.:)

SCOTS GUARDS march through the streets of Alexandria after disembarking from transport ships. These same troops would shortly be in action against Egyptian forces led by Ahmed Urabi at Tel-El-Kebir

Very nice use of a real photo from the conflict.

Just love it Martyn when you bring your new sets out to play it's nice to see what Len was able to provide with minor changes to his figures to get them involved in another period of English History. Can't wait to what's next in store from any of Len's period you've acqured favoring the Zulu War of course. Thanks again for sharing your sets and playtime.

Thanks Joe, glad you like them. I've got a few, well more than a few;), Egyptians and their Nubian (Sudanese) allies that haven't seen the light of day.

Your collection is always an inspiration. Is it all on display in cabinets or do you have to store it away?

Randy

It is stored away at present, the display cabinets are filled with K&C

Lovely photos as always
Martyn and Joe can always be relied upon.
As an aside the Black Watch Pipers wear the Royal Stuart Tartan as depicted all other members of this famous regiment wear the dark government Tartan.

Great pictures! I wounder what would be considered to be the most rare and most desirable set from Sudan war range?

I guess that a lot of collectors think that rarely found pieces are always very desirable...but we have seen many cases when a "common" piece was in great demand and nobody wanted a rarely seen piece...

Many thanks.

I guess one of the most collectible items would have to be the Nile Paddle Steamer, I'm still looking for one;)

It is really wierd. I cannot see your photos using my one.
So I will imagine your pictures.
I am sure they will be excellent as always.
