This Sudan War train was made by Hicks Atkins about 20 years ago and was sold exclusively by Jim Hillestad of Toy Soldier Museum. As per Jim only a handful of them were made (4 or 5): I had two and had sold one in a long while ago, this is the last one! A train made out of wood and other materials: 2 feet long altogether. Jim sold it with 12 Trophy figures including an engineer, Naval Brigade and York Regiment and officers,
It will look great with any Sudan War layout.

$1,250 including shipping in the US, overseas at cost.

Any question or "suggestions" contact me at liquestgroup@yahoo.com or PM.

Alex,

That's a pretty amazing set to say the least.

Any ACW sets coming your way?

Brad

That is a superb set Al. {bravo}}

I know from current experience UK Customs would have a Field Day letting that through without first wanting a Kings Ransom.......now if only you lived in the UK ^&grin

Cheers

This is just a shot in the dark but this might be of interest to Louis or Larry.

Lovely set.
Thanks for posting those great images
Good luck with the sale
Is it Hicks Atkins or Hicks Atwell

The Sudan train has been SOLD and it will go to a good home: the one of the best places the toy soldiers could "live" :")
