Thanks Mike and Brendan for your positive feedback. My main reason for sharing this scene with the boat, is because many years ago it was made for me by a local friend and although I paid him $500, he didn’t really want to let it go, as he was so pleased with how it turned out. I am seeing him next month at a toy swap, where I intend to return it to him as a gift, as my house move later this year means a lot of downsizing of my collection. This photo helps me remember what an excellent boat it was. Robin.

Parting with some of your loved collection must be painful, though at least you've had the pleasure of owning the boat Robin and you know it will be going to a good home and you've enjoyed having it, without upkeep or mooring fees !

Nice to hear from you guys. The toy swap event on Good Friday 18/4 that I am going to, I have been asked to do a K&C display, so I intend to set up a Howard Carter theme. I will take a few photos and post them on the forum. Robin.

Looking forward to seeing your pics of the diorama, but could you maybe also post a new thread on SHOWS & SHOW REPORTS so that others can see what we have 'down under at our only Toy Soldier Show?

I'll have to get back over the Adelaide at Easter to check it out one year, and inspect you new setup in your new home
